Today, members of the tiny, powerful, ultra-wealthy elite class continue to control our government through choosing the candidates for the elections and through the political parties who control the President, the Speaker of the House and the Senate majority leader, who in turn control Congress.

If you find this hard to fathom, consider this. It is a historical fact that the elites created the constitution to eliminate democracy and to give themselves control over the country. Political parties were formed to give them further power over the government. By changing the rules in Congress, the Speaker of the House and the Senate majority leader obtained complete control over what happens in their chamber. Can you imagine those in control of our country who exploit such control to increase their immense wealth doing anything else? Why would they ever voluntarily give up such power and opportunity? They wouldn't and they haven't. We can't expect those who benefit from a problem to fix it.

We are not the owners and customers of government. The power elite are through the political parties. And it's by design.
