Defining our solution needs

The next step to eliminating rule by the power elite and political parties is to define our solution requirements and to search for processes that could provide a solution. You can't find a solution if you don't know what you're looking for. This list of requirements will help us evaluate potential solutions to know if they would be helpful.

Process Requirements for Solutions

• Optimal – Achieves the best possible governing decisions for complex, societal issues for the people

• Effective – Achieves the solution supported by a strong consensus of citizens who care about the issue while giving minority groups an equal voice

• Fair – Shielded from unequal influence and advantage by the few including elites, political parties, special interests, and government administrators

• Unifying – Inhibits damaging social conflict

• Transparent – Provides visibility of decisions, information used for decisions, agreements, finances, and the impact and outcomes of decisions (except where it could negatively impact national security)
